When it comes to gaining comprehensive business support, an increasing number of companies are moving to serviced offices as their solution. So, why is this a growing trend?

Serviced offices provide a resourceful approach to business which, in many respects, exceeds conventional offices. As an extension of your company, a serviced office will cater to your firm’s unique needs and adapt according to your changing circumstances – whether this involves start-up processes, growth and development, new locations or individual project support.

What exactly do you get with a serviced office? Basically, everything you would get with a conventional office, but with greater efficiency, flexibility and at a lower cost. Simply put, serviced offices place more control into your hands; so you can decide how you use it to build your business.

Conventional offices require individual monthly costs as well as capital costs. These expenses include numerous features such as buildings insurance, utilities, furniture, rent, maintenance, IT infrastructure and even reception staff. However, serviced offices combine all of these costs, and more, into one simple monthly payment. And, importantly, it can reduce your total costs by up to 60%. In addition, many serviced office providers do not charge start-up costs, making the deal of optimal value. You get all you need: from project management and support to security services; all for a fraction of the price of a conventional office.

However, serviced offices do not only save you money – they also save you time, something that everyone is short of in business today. When you choose a serviced office, you will not need to search for company support, such as secretarial staff, facilities management, or IT connectivity, because they will all be included in your business package. After all, when it comes to managing a business, your time is valuable. Spend time developing a business strategy and plan, rather than worrying about basic infrastructural and basic day-to-day office management. In summary, that is what serviced offices are all about. They allow you to focus your efforts where they matter most and will have maximum impact.

Serviced offices are also known for flexibility, enabling you to expand or downsize your business as required and at your own pace. Obtain short or long-term agreements; opt for specialised types of support according to your specific company requirements. You’ll even find different serviced office types to suit your specific needs: Whether you require support for a start-up, a growing business, a project team office or a temporary office, a serviced office can be just the resource you need; and no matter where in the UK you take your business, you will have a tailored means of support.

While serviced offices supply a comprehensive set of benefits, many serviced office providers also offer a range of individual services designed to help your business grow – from virtual offices and meeting venues, to shared offices and hot desks. When you take into account all the advantages of serviced offices and related services compared with conventional offices, including a potential cost saving of 60% per month, serviced offices make business sense.

So when it comes to gaining business support, you will discover serviced offices not only offer a comprehensive business solution, but that they do so with your financial interests in mind.

How Networking Can Benefit Your Home Business

If you want your home business to be successful, you are going to have to market it.

Too many people think marketing their home business means sending out mailings, placing ads online and in the paper and making cold calls. The people who think those are the only methods of marketing a home business are missing out on one of the best marketing tools ever – networking.

Same Face, New Name

Networking is not a new concept. It has been around since the very first business opened and it is never going away. Throughout its history, networking has gone through a number of name changes. Once it was called hunting, another time it was referred to as network marketing, some have called it word-of-mouth advertising, and now it is simply known as networking. While the names may have changed, one thing has not. Networking can play a major role in the success of your home business.

Who Do You Know?

The concept of networking is based on building your business from people you already know. Sit back and think of how many people you know. I am not saying they have to be friends of yours; you just have to know them. If you think hard, you should be able to list at least one-hundred people, if not more. These are the people you should start marketing your home business to.

If you can not come up with a list of one-hundred people network with, you need to get out more. Seriously, look into joining some local business associations or attending events hosted by your local chamber of commerce. The more people you meet, the more networking opportunities you will have.

Speaking of business associations, even if you do have one-hundred people on your marketing list, business associations are an excellent place to generate networking leads for your home business. People join business associations for two reasons – to promote their business and to hook up with businesses whose services or products they need. If you want your home business to boom, join each and every business association in your area.

It Takes Tact

Networking your home business is going to take tact. You are not going to want to run up to everyone you have ever met asking them straight out to buy your product or service. Not only is it going to put them off, it is going to make them question the integrity of your home business. Instead, whenever you run across people you know, mention your home business in casual conversation and tell them they can feel free to mention your business to anyone who may be in need of your product or service.

By approaching your networking this way, you are not asking something of the people you know. Instead, you are offering a product or service to them and others they may know. Instead of asking for something, you are offering something and that makes a world of difference in how people respond to your home business.

One Hand Washes the Other

If you are trying to network your home business, you are going to have to do a little back-scratching yourself. For instance, if someone in your network sells auto insurance, you should buy your policy from that person. Then, while you are signing the insurance papers, mention your home business. Ask them to refer anyone who may need your product or services and leave a few business cards for them to hand out. If you’re giving them business, they should be happy to generate business for you.

Practice Makes Perfect In Network Marketing

While networking can be an overwhelming endeavor at first, as the old saying goes – try, try and try again. If the first person you try to network with flat out rejects you, let it slide right off your back. For every successful networking relationship you try to set up, you may experience ten failures. Do not waste your energy by concentrating or lingering on the failures. Eventually, you will come across successes and your home business is going to be grown by the successful connections, not the failed ones.
